Samsung Galaxy S3

They said...

The highly anticipated next generation Galaxy S series is going to be officially announced on May 3rd. It was voted on "Mobilesyrup" that this device is the most anticipated device of 2012.

This device is rumoured to have a 4.6inch display, Quad core processor with 1.5ghz, 8MP camera, NFC, and LTE. It is also rumoured to be around 7mm thin, considering how the S2 was around 8mm thin this is a considerable cut in size. The device is also supposed to be battery efficient, increasing the overall battery life despite the increase in specifications.

One thing that is very blurry is the design that this new device is going to have. Would it be similar to the Galaxy S2? Some says that samsung may even incorporate their "flexible display" technology to the new Galaxy making the device "unbreakable" However, there are other speculations that the device is going to have a "Ceramic" back cover that would make it very "breakable"

iPad mini expected to launch

They said...

Apple Inc has decided to make a mini version of their iPad series. It is expected to be around 7.85 inch compared to the 9.7 inch on the "new' iPad (Personally don't like the name),

The price of this product is not very "Apple like" in that it is within the range of $250 to $300. It seems like Apple is finally trying to compete against other organizations within the same industry.

One thing odd about this release time of the iPad mini is the fact that Apple's new iPhone is supposed to launch around the same time in September or October. And knowing Apple, it isn't likely that they'll launch two new products at the same time. However, it'll be interesting to see it happen.

Virtual Store

They said...

There are stores in Korea that doesn't hold physical items on shelves; they are the virtual stores.

Virtual stores uses QR codes and Bar codes that can be scanned with your smartphones. People can use their smartphones to scan these codes and have the items delivered to their homes. Considering how fast the delivery services are in Asia, this is a good way to get people use online shopping in an another unique way. This is supposed to reduce the amount of time spent on the line and reduce customer dissatisfaction.

Even Canada, Toronto has gotten a virtual store recently. It is known to be located in Front and Bay street and has some products for customers to purchase. Virtual stores are supposed to reduce the risk of theft and costs associated with hiring clerks to stock the items.

Despite the positive aspects of this innovative idea, it would be better to see one day these virtual stores having physical items in the back with employees checking the items being purchased by the consumers in the store and have the items all packaged and ready to go by the time customers get to the counter to check out.

North Korea getting ready to fire another missile...

They said...

One of the most threatening countries of our world, North Korea, is planning on test firing a missle for the 3rd time.

This is in violation with the agreement made with U.S during their meeting earlier with the new dictator of N.Korea, Kim Jong Eun.

The violation will result in the abandonment of the providence of food supplies, promised earlier during their agreement. U.S made it clear that N.Korea is to stop their activity involving nuclear weapons, long ranged missiles, and even firing Satellites that uses missile technology. U.S sees this event as a clear evidence that N.Korea is not ready to come to an agreement with the U.S in terms of an alliance.

Clearly, the new dictator of N.Korea isn't living up to the change that most people had hoped: a change that will bring peace and stability to the citizens of N.Korea.

McDonalds new drive thru idea!

They said...

Drivers would be able to pick and purchase from McDonald's menu by using a traffic system that transmits menus unto to touch screen of the car. And from there, people will be able to choose and purchase their food. All that is left to do is to go to a nearby McDonalds and pick up your food.

It'll be a technology improved upon their call center services, where people can order from the internet/phone at their homes/businesses and pick up their orders at McDonalds.

This should significantly decrease the number of line ups on the McDonald's drive thru area. It is said that it'll be first introduced in Japan.

And is assumed to be a significant finding to prevent possible rejection of organs and blood transfusion by those individuals who have these blood types.

Only 30 proteins have been identified as responsible for the basic blood types but now there will be 32 proteins (new ones: ABCB6 and ABCG2)
